چکیده
The mechanical behaviour of laminated glass is strongly affected by the polymeric interlayer placed between layers. In general, this a viscoelastic material, and therefore it may experience creep stress relaxation when subjected for an extended period to constant or strain respectively. study, seven different commercial materials (EVALAM, EVASAFE, PVB BG-R20, Saflex DG-41, ES, SentryGlas, TPU) were evaluated with tests at temperatures, in order build master curves through time-temperature superposition principle. A generalized Maxwell model was chosen describe tested materials. This paper includes coefficients Prony series that fit better experimental results. has two main goals. First, present (ei ?i), which can then be used create numerical models take into consideration time temperature-dependant interlayer. Second, provide components complex modulus (E*(?)) each storage (E’(?)) loss (E’’(?)), obtained from (E(t)) using analytical interconversions.

Comparison of viscoelastic finite element models for laminated glass beams
Laminated glass elements, which consist of stiff elastic glass layers connected with a compliant viscoelastic polymer foil, exhibit geometrically non-linear and time/temperature-sensitive behavior. In computational modeling, the viscoelastic effects are often neglected or a detailed continuum formulation typically based on the volumetric-deviatoric elastic-viscoelastic split is used for the int...

This paper addresses an inverse approach to estimate the frequency-dependent Young’s modulus of a viscoelastic polymer layer in a laminated structure. The Young’s modulus is parameterized by a fractional derivative model and examined from a Bayesian perspective with the consideration of measurement and modeling uncertainties. متن کاملCharacterization of Viscoelastic Properties of Polymeric Materials through Nanoindentation
Nanoindentation is used to determine the dynamic viscoelastic properties of six polymer materials. It is shown that varying the harmonic frequency of the nanoindentation does not have any significant effect on the measured storage and loss moduli of the polymers. Agreement is found between these results and data from DMA testing of the same materials. Varying the harmonic amplitude of the nanoi...

This contribution presents a simple Finite Element model aimed at efficient simulation of layered glass units. The adopted approach is based on considering independent kinematics of each layer, tied together via Lagrange multipliers. Validation and verification of the resulting model against independent data demonstrate its accuracy, showing its potential for generalization towards more complex...
